My promises to you

  • Free 15-minute phone triage. Tell me what's wrong, get a price before any work.
  • Fixed or it's free. If I can't fix it, you don't pay for my time. Same problem in 30 days? Fixed again free.
  • I never ask for bank logins. You start every remote session yourself.
  • Plain English. No jargon, and a written summary of what I did.

How it works

Three steps. No surprises.

1

Call or text

Tell me what's going on. The first 15 minutes on the phone are free, and sometimes that's all it takes.

2

Get the price first

You hear the price before I start. Fixed-price jobs stay fixed. Hourly work is quoted up front.

3

It gets fixed

Remotely or at your door. You get a short written summary, and if the same problem comes back within 30 days, I fix it free.

What "cheaper" often leaves out

  • Backing up your files before touching anything
  • Checking what the virus or scammer already got into
  • Changing the passwords that were exposed
  • A written summary you can keep
  • Someone who picks up when it happens again

The honest trade-off

  • I'm one person, not a 24/7 call center
  • Evenings and Saturdays, with a reply within 4 hours
  • For true emergencies, I respond as fast as I can
  • What you get: the same person, who knows your setup and tells you the truth

Competitor prices are published prices as of October 2026 and can change: big-box figures from Best Buy Geek Squad's service pages; hourly range is Thumbtack's national average; builder figures from Wix and Squarespace annual plans; freelancer and agency ranges from published industry pricing guides.

Rowhome Tech · Philadelphia · Est. 2026

Who you're calling

I'm Gabe.

I'm a Philadelphia IT professional and U.S. Air Force veteran with 7+ years of supporting hospitals and businesses. I started Rowhome Tech because I watched too many people, a lot of them seniors, get overcharged, talked down to, or scammed.

So I keep it simple:

  • You hear the price before I touch anything.
  • I explain what I did in plain English.
  • I never ask for your bank logins, and I never call you out of the blue about a "virus."
  • If I can't fix it, you don't pay for my time.

Questions

Good questions, straight answers

How does remote help work? Is it safe?

You open a secure screen-sharing link that you start yourself, and you watch everything I do. You can end it any time with one click. I never ask for bank or credit-card logins. If anyone else calls you saying they're "tech support," hang up and call me.

What if you can't fix it?

Then you don't pay for my time. If the same problem comes back within 30 days, I fix it again for free.

How do I pay?

By check or Cash App ($RowhomeTech), after the work is done. Always check that the name shows Rowhome Tech before you send. For larger business projects, the payment terms are written into our agreement before any work starts, so there are never surprises.

Do you charge for travel?

No travel fee anywhere in Philadelphia. Outside the city, ask and I'll tell you up front.

What are your hours?

Weekdays 5:30–9 PM and Saturdays 9 AM–3 PM. Call or text any time, and you'll hear back within 4 hours during those hours.

Do you look at my files or photos?

No. I only touch what the job needs, and everything I see stays private. Business clients get a written confidentiality agreement.

Is this a scam call? Someone said my computer has a virus.

Real companies, including Microsoft and Apple, don't call you about viruses. Don't let them connect, don't pay with gift cards, and don't give them codes. If you already did, call me: Scam cleanup + account lockdown is $99 remote.

Do you work with churches?

Yes. Churches and nonprofits get 15% off business labor. I help with Wi-Fi that keeps guests separate from the office, livestream setups, email protection, and "the pastor needs gift cards" scam training for members.
